When the ball is out, it is really out.

Wow, this is amazing. I hope neither of them falls off the side. I could never play up that high without a huge safety net.

Dude, there is a net. It looks like it sticks out about 4 feet from the platform, behind a guardrail. Still, I'm not sure I could concentrate on the game.

I'm not certain that they played an actual game...

Yeah, it was just a promo and yeah, there is a 4 ft. safety net. Still, it's pretty freaky if you ask me, and I'm really not that afraid of heights.

That hotel is sick, btw. I had an Indian friend that would schedule layovers in Dubai just to hang out. His photos are pretty amazing. I think the Burj al Arab has the highest lobby in the world and an underwater restaurant.

Maybe Christo will wrap it next year.

I saw an exhibit on it in New York a couple years ago, I think it was at the Cooper-Hewitt. IIRC, it's the tallest hotel in the world, and is acessible only by taking a boat across this man-made lake. On the other side, they have a fleet of custom Mercedes that pick you up and drive you to the front door.
