Eye abrasions suck.

On Sunday, I got something stuck in my eye- turns out it was a sizeable(for the eye) piece of plaster. In order to get it out on Monday, the ophthalmologist had to flick it out with something, making my eye abrasion even bigger.

See, my eye started watering uncontrollably...which led to my nose dripping uncontrollably. Any of you bio types out there know why this happens?

Presumably because you are knocking out walls, finishing cielings, making casts, or doing something else which causes you to be near tiny pieces of plaster.

Thank you, I'll be here all week.

For the same reason your eyes and nose water when you eat Habaneros, get gassed by Cl2 at the second Ypres, or put too much wasabi on your maguro. Your body is sensing an irritant and wants to both protect with tears and mucus and also try to flush it out which is why the floodgates open up.
